The Virex application provides many features to help keep your Macintosh computer free of viruses. Some of these include examining your disks for infected files, viewing and printing Virex reports and log files, and updating Virex when new viruses are discovered. The following topics describe the features that you will use most often. The Virex UserΓÇÖs Guide provides more detailed information about the features and functions of Virex.
To view on-line help information about a particular button or another part of the main Virex window, hold down the Γîÿ and option keys while clicking on the item. While the Γîÿ and option keys are down, the cursor turns to a ΓÇ£?ΓÇ¥ and the buttons and other controls do not perform their normal functions. You may also turn on Balloon Help for information about various items in the Virex windows.
Just above the scroll bar in this Virex Help window is a small box containing a triangle. Click on the triangle to view only the help topic titles in this window. Click again to show the complete help text. You can also double-click on a particular topic title or paragraph to expand or condense the text while keeping that topic in view.
